Born on the 4th May in 1992 in Britain and living in England all my life, I’m a female Brit who is every bit as Taurus as the birthdate suggests, who has a hearty love of most animals.
Over my years of living I’ve proven to be a variety of things, and I suppose the way people view me and the way I behave towards people depends on the relationship we have.
Generally on the internet I am an outgoing, somewhat sarcastic and snarky character. I enjoy humour, perverse or otherwise, and can take most jokes in good standing. I’ve always been a fan of roleplay in some form, as I’ve been writing stories and imagining myself in the shoes of another character since I was tiny, so a good number of my current friends have come from roleplay forums. I used to play Perfect World International avidly to the point of addiction, but changes to the game made by the developers turned me off playing it and I fell out of the game. It was here I first picked up my now-permanent internet alias Airyll. I spent a good number of months on the PW private server Blood Dragon after this, making a small name for myself after the 2010 reset only to get banned by the crackhead and incompetent admin after pointing out all the fallacies in her dumbass administration over world chat. I went by Airyll and Tasison there, too, so if any of you know me, feel free to say hi.
I fell out the MMORPG scene after that but retained much of my rather blunt and sarcastic personality. During my time on the PWE Forums I perfected the art of smart trolling, and have since found internet drama to hold a rather tasty appeal to it. I wouldn’t be surprised if I’ve made quite a few enemies while bitch-slapping over the internet for their utter stupidity and ridiculing them about their piss-poor arguments.
In general, I sound like a bit of an unfriendly bitch, and I can prove cold-hearted at times. However, I do actually love all my friends and am far more relaxed around them than most other people. I am a huge Pokemon nerd and am into several other fandoms outside of that, and generally, I’m up for any kind of conversation.
In real lifeI’m a different person altogether until you can get to know me. I’m far more reserved and quiet and while I am not more sensitive than I am on the internet, my emotions show very easily.
It’s highly likely that I suffer from some form of autism as I have had problems socialising ever since I can remember. My childhood was unstable and most of it was spent alone, so I can prove to be a little bit clingy at times, and more than that I can prove to be highly antisocial. I struggle with socialising in large groups and am somewhat agoraphobic; I’d much prefer to just stay in my room on the computer than go out anywhere.
I’ve worked as a support teacher in two schools for a combined period of roughly half a year, give or take. Despite the fact people tell me I am very good with children, I personally hate the little bastards and have no intentions of having any of my own. This said, I enjoyed my time working there, and highly enjoyed my own personal math class of six lower-grade students, who were a joy to work with despite their problems.
Since I was small I’ve grown up around dogs and have as much success in training them as I apparently do with helping children, if not substantially more. I’m very much a dog person, although I love cats and birds as pets too, and I’d be lost if it weren’t for my faithful four-legged companions.
In general I’m shy and reserved until I better know somebody, at which I become more relaxed and more like the persona that is shown to friends on the internet. People tell me I’m mature beyond my years, though whether this claim is true or not is something you’d have to decide for yourself, and generally I’m more of an adult than a teenager.
Oh. I’m also perhaps a little bit sexist against men for my own personal reasons and bad experiences.
As said before, the name Airyll was invented while I registered my first character on Perfect World International. Initially I had wanted to use the name Aryll, but it was already taken - thus I injected an “i” into the name and so “Airyll” was born.
It didn’t take long for a variety of nick-names to show up amongst my friends, including
Within a few months of hardcore PWI playing, I’d grown very accustomed to the name and had rather fallen in love with it, along with the nicknames Airy and Airy-Fairy. I began to associate myself under the alias Airyll and the two nicknames mentioned above instead of my older names like “Shadou”, “Loresauce” and “latias-mimic” which were all my three original internet aliases.
I don’t really intend to change aliases again at this point. I’ve been using “Airyll” for a long time and since then some very important events have happened in my life that have both changed my outlook on life itself and me as a person. The name has a strong meaning to me now and I go by it almost everywhere I can, short of places where I cannot change my name. I’m sure some people on the internet who know of me will sneer when the name “Airyll” pops up, and others I’m sure would just laugh or wave, or whatever. But either way, I’m sticking with the name, and it means a lot to me now.
